Wednesday, September 26, 2007 -- Current Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi will make a guest appearance next week on "The View," ABC's Emmy(r) Award-winning talk and entertainment program. "The View" airs Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET, on the ABC Television Network.

Featured guests include America Ferrara (ABC's "Ugly Betty"), Faith Hill, Jason Schwartzman ("The Darjeeling Limited"), Sarah Silverman ("The Sarah Silverman Program") and Marcia Gay Harden ("Into The Wild"). Nick Kroll (ABC's "Cavemen"), Lee Pace (ABC's "Pushing Daisies"), Ty Treadway ("Merv Griffin's Crosswords"), Cesar Millan (author, "Be the Pack Leader"), Chris Matthews (author, "Life's a Campaign"), Jack Cafferty (author, "It's Getting Wild Out There") and musical guest Annie Lennox are also scheduled to appear.

"The View" features Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues and share their no-holds-barred opinions and engage in colorful conversations. Since its launch, "The View" has received 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show. The show has received numerous nominations, including ten consecutive nominations for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host.
