Bruce Shindler Appointed Vice President of National Promotion for Mercury Nashville

KATIE DEAN PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT OF RADIO MARKETING FOR UMG NASHVILLE

Nashville, Tennessee, October 3, 2007 - UMG Nashville has appointed Bruce Shindler to Vice President of National Promotion for Mercury Nashville and Katie Dean has been promoted to Vice President of Radio Marketing for UMG Nashville. Both Shindler and Dean will be based in Nashville and report to Bill Catino, EVP of National Promotion for the company.

Bruce Shindler has been with Universal Music Group for over 10 years. Prior to joining UMG, he had his own independent promotion/marketing company, Shindler-Turner Promotions. His background also includes previous positions with RCA Records and MTM Records. Shindler has worked a combined 35 years in radio promotion.

Katie Dean has been with UMG for over two years where she was originally employed as Director of Radio Marketing. Prior to joining UMG, Dean worked in promotion at Lyric Street Records as well as Director of Label Sales and Service, at Mediabase.
