TBS Airs SAP Telecasts of MLB Postseason Action on CNN en Español

October 03, 2007 -- TBS, exclusive home of all four MLB Division Series and the NLCS, announced that will offer all of its MLB Postseason coverage in Spanish, providing an SAP feed exclusively on CNN en Español. Beginning today, the network will carry all four Division Series and the National League Championship Series with veteran announcers Pete Manzano and Fernando Palacios calling the games in Spanish. Announcers José Medellin and Marcelo Godoy will serve as the secondary team for triple and quadruple headers.
The SAP TBS MLB Postseason games will take a direct feed from the TBS telecast with the play-by-play and color commentary available on CNN en Español. The network will infuse the MLB Postseason games into its regular coverage, cutting away for any breaking news.
CNN en Español, CNN’s only independently produced 24-hour network in a language other than English, is currently available in close to 18 million cable and DTH households throughout Latin America, and 4 million households across the United States. The network provides continuous news coverage of major world events, live breaking coverage supported by in-depth analysis, worldwide business and financial news, global weather updates, sports and feature programming on such topics as health, technology and entertainment.
