AOL and Warner Bros. Television Group's Telepictures Productions Sign 'All'® Small & Mighty® and Jarden Consumer Solutions' Sunbeam Brand as Exclusive Sponsors Of The "Wish You Were Here" Marketing Program For The Ellen Degeneres Show

October 05, 2007 -- AOL (NYSE:TWX) and Warner Bros. Television Group's Telepictures Productions have signed two blue-chip brands – Unilever and Sunbeam – to serve as national sponsors for "Wish You Were Here," a joint AOL/Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG)/Telepictures Productions integrated marketing program for The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"Wish You Were Here," which is available online at ellen.aol.com, is an innovative cross-platform collaboration between AOL, WBTVG and Telepictures Productions that gives fans across the country a chance to encourage talk show host Ellen DeGeneres to visit their hometown.

Over the course of the 10-week program, which Ellen announced on-air during her October 2nd show, fans have the opportunity to showcase their hometown pride by visiting Ellen's AOL site and uploading their own stories, photos and videos, each detailing why Ellen should come visit their town. Ellen will thread these tales into her show in a variety of ways over the run of the marketing program, culminating with a visit during the month of December once The Ellen DeGeneres Show selects the most compelling hometown.

"Ellen is one of the most popular personalities on television, and we are excited to partner with Telepictures to create this program that connects Ellen with her fan base across the country," said Kathy Kayse, EVP, AOL Brand Solutions. "Additionally, attracting these industry-leading advertising partners underscores AOL's value as one of the Internet's premiere venues for online advertising, and we're pleased to integrate these strong brands into this creative new program."

"We're excited to be working with AOL and these highly influential advertisers on this unique, cross-platform marketing program which underscores our core digital strategy for The Ellen DeGeneres Show and at the Warner Bros. Television Group," said Brett Bouttier, Senior Vice President, Digital, Warner Bros. Television Group. "Our mission is to create compelling programming that will increase visibility for our Internet partners and provide strategic opportunities for advertisers to reach their target consumers across all media. 'Wish You Were Here' delivers on all of those elements, and more, and we look forward to a highly successful campaign."

Unilever's 'all'® small & mighty®, 3x concentrated laundry detergent, is the presenting sponsor of "Wish You Were Here," and is leveraging the sponsorship to launch a nationwide eco-education program and contest.

As one of the supporting sponsors of "Wish You Were Here," Jarden Consumer Solutions Sunbeam® Rocket® Grill will receive prominent online branding throughout the site and integration into The Ellen DeGeneres Show, including audience giveaways.

"Wish You Were Here" is featured as content on the AOL Living channel which ranks #2 in the women's category, according to ComScore Media Metrix, with more than 10.6 million unique users in August 2007.
