DoD Identifies Army Casualty: Sgt. Terrell W. Gilmore, 38, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana
April 01, 2008 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Terrell W. Gilmore, 38, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, died March 30 in Baghdad, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
He was assigned to the 769th Engineer Battalion of the Louisiana Army National Guard in Baton Rouge.
