Honda Statement on Proposed Establishment of a Single National Standard for Vehicle GHG Emissions and Fuel Economy
05.19.09 -- "Honda supports President Obama's initiative to establish a single national standard addressing both greenhouse gas emissions and fuel economy.
"We have long supported a national approach to these problems. Though it will be a challenging standard to meet, we will embrace it. Honda has consistently developed and implemented technologies aimed at improving fuel efficiency and minimizing the environmental impacts of our products and operations on society.
"We look forward to working with the Administration in the implementation of this program."
