Shea-Porter introduced a resolution that recognizes the contributions of the New Hampshire National Guard (NHNG). October 14, 2009 -- WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter urged House Leadership to extend the tax credit for first-time home buyers and to consider including a smaller credit for other home buyers. In a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Shea-Porter outlined why extending these credits would be beneficial to the housing market and help with our economic recovery.
