12/19/2007 -- Oklahoma’s Multicounty Grand Jury adjourned from its December session today after issuing one sealed indictment and a report, Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson said.
The indictment will be unsealed in Oklahoma County District Court at 9 a.m., Dec. 21 before Judge Kenneth Watson. That indictment names one person on 13 counts. » read more »

December 15, 2007 -- Oklahoma City -- Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry today asked President George Bush for a major disaster declaration for an initial seven Oklahoma counties devastated by the recent ice storm. As more damage assessments are completed, requests will be made for additional counties to be declared.

Eleven Plead Guilty in Illegal Horse Racing Case
11/14/2007 -- Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson said eleven defendants charged in connection with a July 29 raid on an illegal horse racing operation in Thackerville pleaded guilty today in Love County District Court.
The eleven defendants, which included workers and horse owners at the Red River Playground in Thackerville, were charged in Love County District Court July 31 after an investigation by the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission (OHRC) and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI). » read more »
