ABC's "The View" Returns to Las Vegas to Broadcast Outside Caesars Palace, June 23-27
Monday, May 19, 2008 -- ABC Daytime's "The View" returns to Las Vegas, NV to broadcast from legendary casino resort Caesars Palace, JUNE 23-27. The broadcast, sponsored by Walgreens, was announced today by Brian Frons, president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group. This is the first time "The View" will broadcast in HDTV while on location. "The View" had previously broadcast from Caesars Palace in February 2006 and February 2004.

Barbara Walters's New Memoir Audition Selling Well
May 14, 2008 -- Barbara Walters's new memoir Audition has sold over 250,000 copies in its first week, making it one of the strongest nonfiction hardcover debuts in recent years and putting Walters in league with other blockbuster authors such as Bill Clinton and Bob Woodward.
"This is a remarkable number for a work of nonfiction in what has been a flat retail environment," says Sonny Mehta, Chairman of the Knopf Publishing Group.
