DOJ: Defendant Pleads Guilty to Conspiring to Export Military Aircraft Parts to Iran
January 26, 2009 -- WASHINGTON – Hassan Saied Keshari and his corporation, Kesh Air International, pleaded guilty this morning in the Southern District of Florida to charges of conspiring to illegally export military and commercial aircraft parts to Iran.

Congress Passes Obama, Murkowski, Allen Bill to Ban Dangerous Mercury Exports

Wisconsin Governor Doyle to Lead Trade Mission to India

May 13, 2008 -- MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle today announced that he will lead a trade mission to India in November at the annual Wisconsin International Trade Conference in Milwaukee, where he presented the Governor’s Export Achievement Awards. USDA Raises Agricultural Exports Forecast to Record $101 Billion for 2008
WASHINGTON, D.C., February 21, 2008 – At the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Outlook Forum, Secretary Ed Schafer today announced that U.S. agricultural exports are forecast to reach a record $101 billion for fiscal year 2008, up $10 billion from November's forecast and an unprecedented $19 billion above 2007.
This latest forecast builds off of unprecedented consecutive year to year record exports since 2004. Higher wheat, coarse grain, and soybean prices account for just over half of the revision since November. » read more »

U.S. Agricultural Exports Expected To Reach Record Levels
WASHINGTON, Aug. 31, 2007 – Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns today announced a record $79 billion forecast in FY 2007 agricultural exports. For fiscal year 2008, USDA forecasts exports to reach $83.5 billion with growth and new sales across all major agricultural product groups.

China Bans Two Toy Manufacturers Involved in US Recalls
09 August 2007 -- China has temporarily suspended exports by two toy manufacturers that were the subject of product recalls in the United States.
China's top product safety agency, the General Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, said in a statement Thursday that the companies were being asked to correct problems.
Both companies have been the subject of large-scale recalls of toys found to be contaminated with lead paint. » read more »
