"The 2008 ALMA Awards®," celebrating the outstanding artistic achievements of Latinos in motion pictures, television and music, will air FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Jan. 20, 2008 -- Ohio Congressman and Democratic Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich gained a significant endorsement today from the Mexican American Political Association (MAPA), a progressive advocacy organization based in California and well known for its work in the areas of civil and human rights.

12/6/2007 -- Hillary Clinton continues to lead all Democratic presidential contenders among Hispanic voters -- by 44 points, according to a new poll released today by the Pew Hispanic Center. The poll also found that most Hispanics view the Democratic Party as the one that shows more concern for Latinos. In addition, the report found that at a rate of 3 to one, Latinos believe that the Bush administration’s policies have been harmful to Hispanics.
