RNC Press release, Jan 21:

WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie will be the featured guest in the RNC’s first public chat at 4:00 p.m. EST Wednesday on GOP.com, the RNC’s newly launched Web site.

Wedged between the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary January 27, Gillespie will field questions from citizens and activists across the nation, commenting on the evolving political landscape and the RNC’s plans for the coming year.

“Too often, people feel cut-off or disconnected from the political process, and our series of online chats is designed to involve and empower people in the Republican Party,” said Gillespie. “This is just the latest example of how we’re actively engaging Americans in a process that’s about them and their future.”

Anyone wishing to participate in the chat can click here. Questions for the chat will be accepted 10-15 minutes before the chat begins.
