NEW YORK, July 22, 2008 -- Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender ended its third season with a "b-Aang," scoring the series' highest ratings ever, and earning the number-one spot on broadcast and basic cable television for the week with kids and tweens.

In the episode "Benchwarmers," Zack tries out for the high school basketball team but realizes there's some stiff competition, the kind he didn't face in middle school, and worse yet, a giant, in-your-face coach (Duncan). Meanwhile, when they're rejected as cheerleaders, Cody and London form their own cheerleading squad with the help of Mr. Moseby.
