Tuesday, June 17, 2008 -- Ali Sonoma (St. Louis, MO), who took a $30,000 bribe to leave the game, and Bobby O'Donnell (Philadelphia, PA), who was one of the most committed players but didn't last after taking the quiz, became the third and fourth players to leave "The Mole" in a rare double "Execution" during last night's episode. The fourth episode airs MONDAY, JUNE 23 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Jon Kelley ("Extra," "The National Sports Report," "Baseball Today") is host.

ABC’s 2008 NBA Finals Game 5 Audience Up 21% vs. 2006 NBA Finals Game 5

June 16, 2008 -- Based on fast national ratings, Game 5 of the best-of-seven NBA Finals on ABC – the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics – last night, Sunday, June 15, averaged 17,257,000 viewers (P2+), an increase of 21 percent compared to Game 5 in 2006 (there was no Game 5 last year), which averaged 14,318,000 viewers for Dallas at Miami. The Lakers/Celtics game averaged 11,393,000 households, an increase of 13 percent over 10,049,000 households in 2006, and a 10.1 rating, up 11 percent over a 9.1 in 2006. It was the most-watched NBA Finals Game since Game 7 of 2005 (18,997,000 viewers).

Through five broadcasts, the 2008 NBA Finals are averaging a 9.0 rating, up 45 percent over the four-game series last year (6.2).    » read more »

June 17, 2008 -- ESPN’s coverage of the 2008 U.S. Open playoff on Monday from noon-2 p.m. ET was the most-viewed golf telecast in cable TV history (4.2 household rating, 4,055,000 household impressions, 4,762,000 viewers). Tiger Woods defeated Rocco Mediate in a sudden playoff at Torrey Pines. ESPN aired the first two hours of the playoff, which went into sudden death.
