Utah Governor Commends Sebelius Selection for HHS Secretary
Feb 28, 2009 -- Salt Lake City - Utah Governor Huntsman issued the following statement tonight regarding the appointment of Governor Kathleen Sebelius as the new Health and Human Services secretary:
"The selection of Kathleen for this critical post is a welcome announcement from the Obama administration," Governor Huntsman said. "Kathleen brings a fundamental wealth of knowledge and experience that will be indispensable in leading the reform efforts that are so critical to our nation going forward. I extend my ongoing support to her. As we make progress on monumental health system reform in Utah, I trust we'll have a continued dialog on the efforts being made at the state level."
