What We're About

The word "patriot" may mean a lot of different thing to a lot of different people. Here at All American Patriots, we believe that patriotism has a lot to do with loving one's country -- not unconditionally, but thoughtfully. If one loves the USA, one should know as much as one can about it, and one should do everything one can to help it live up to all of its enormous potential -- to Be all that it can be.

That's why we work to provide a large, non-partisan, and rapidly expanding collection of information about every aspect of the United States -- its history, politics, people, states, elections, voter information, historic and current documents, and much more - with news, current events and bulletins from many branches and top officials of the United States Government, and forums in which our visitors can debate important issues concerning the United States.

One of our many inofficial mottos is "The Only Good Patriot is an Informed Patriot." We'll help you become both.

Who runs All American Patriots?

Just a couple of proud and patriotic citizens who believe that the patriotic goodness of the USA should not be forgotten in these tough post September 11, 2001 times we live in. One of us is from the east coast from a politically active family and the other is a veteran that was raised in the midwest. We both are married and have lovely spouses and children that we cherish with all our hearts.

Is this website commercial or government sponsored?

It's commercial in the sense that we have some ads and sell a few things, but these are merely to cover the large amount of server space we occupy and bandwidth we consume with the large number of documents we have. If we should have money left over after our expenses are covered (dream on...) we would like to go to both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions and sing.

How do you define patriot?

Defining patriot is as difficult as defining love (perhaps because they are quite similar) since it is different and sacred to each and every one of us. Let's put it this way, we are proud, but this is private.

Do you endorse candidates, parties or issues?

Occasionally.

What about mandatory legalesque disclaimers?

All American Patriots is not affiliated with any other organization, political party, action group, push-polling operation, government, magic show, tooth decay prevention lobby, or anything else whatsoever (see our raison d'être above).
